How Trade500 Makes Money
Trade500 is a free resource. We do not charge readers for access to our reviews, comparisons, or educational guides. Instead, we earn revenue through affiliate partnerships with some of the brokers and exchanges featured on our site.
When you click a link to a broker on Trade500 and subsequently open an account, we may receive a referral commission from that broker. This is known as a CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) commission, and it is the standard revenue model for financial comparison websites. It allows us to operate, pay our editorial team, and continuously improve our content without charging you a penny.
Does This Affect Our Reviews?
No. Our affiliate relationships have no influence on our editorial content, review scores, or rankings.
The Trade500 editorial team evaluates every broker using the same structured methodology, whether or not a commercial relationship exists. Brokers cannot pay for favorable reviews, inflated ratings, or preferential placement. Our review scores are determined entirely by objective criteria including regulatory status, fee structures, platform quality, customer support, and educational resources.
If a broker performs poorly in our assessment, its score will reflect that, even if the broker is an advertising partner. Conversely, a broker with no affiliate relationship will receive an honest, positive review if it earns one through our testing.
Not every broker featured on Trade500 has an affiliate relationship with us. We include brokers in our coverage based on their relevance and quality, not their willingness to pay referral commissions. Some brokers we review and recommend have no commercial arrangement with us at all.
What This Means for You
Clicking an affiliate link on Trade500 does not change the fees you pay, the account terms you receive, or the quality of service a broker provides. In some cases, affiliate links may connect you with exclusive offers or promotions that are not available when visiting the broker directly.
We encourage you to verify any broker's terms and fees on their own website before opening an account. Our reviews are designed to be a starting point for your research, not a replacement for your own due diligence.
Our Commitment to Transparency
Trust is the foundation of what we do. If we ever discover that a partner broker is engaging in practices that are harmful to traders, we will downgrade its rating, add warnings to our review, or remove it from our site entirely, regardless of the revenue impact.
We encourage readers to review our full methodology to understand exactly how we evaluate brokers. If you have questions about our advertiser relationships or believe that a commercial arrangement has influenced our content in any way, please contact us through our about page. We take these concerns seriously.
